Photo Etched Soft Enamel
Photo etched process is transferring the design from a photographic negative onto the metal surface by sensitization process. Then acid was applied to etched out the designs. It is recommended to select bolder designs to prevent any unsatisfactory coloring caused by lines and figures that are too thin or too small and will required an additional screen printing process. Coloring are done by soft enamel. A clear epoxy dome can be added to enhance the effect. PMS colors can be matched. This process requires a surrounding metal edge to ensure painting results, so it is usually necessary to reserve a metal edge of minimum 0.8mm.
